Benidorm is set to outdo itself once again with TM Tower, a 64-storey skyscraper that will overtake Intempo as the city’s tallest building.
Benidorm reaches new heights
A new skyscraper is set to redefine Benidorm’s famous skyline. TM Grupo Inmobiliario has unveiled plans for TM Tower – a 64-storey residential development that will soar to 230 metres, overtaking the Intempo tower as the city’s tallest building.
Outpacing Intempo and making European headlines
Approved by the local council, TM Tower will stand just 50 metres from Poniente beach on Avenida de México. The project includes 260 homes ranging from one to four bedrooms, plus four underground floors with parking and amenities. Residents will have access to pools, a gym, sports areas, and even a private cinema.
The top floors will feature a sky bar and astronomical observatory in collaboration with the Jesús Carnicer Interactive Science Museum (MUDIC), promising views over Benidorm and beyond.
Strong interest from buyers
At 230 metres, the new tower will eclipse Benidorm’s current record holder, the 202-metre Intempo building, and rank as one of the tallest residential towers in Europe. Only Moscow’s Neva Towers, at 354 metres, will rise significantly higher on the continent.
TM acquired the 13,225 m² plot as part of a long-term land bank in Benidorm, where it has already developed several landmark twin-block projects. This time, the focus is on one monumental structure designed with reinforced concrete to withstand high winds, tested in a wind tunnel at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Seven high-speed lifts – running up to 6 metres per second – will ensure rapid access to the highest apartments.
Launch date set for September
According to the developer, early reservations are already flowing in from both Spanish and international clients, with “hundreds of interested buyers” recorded. Completion and handover are scheduled for the second half of 2028.
TM will formally present the project on 18 September at a launch event with clients, agencies, and local authorities. The company describes TM Tower as “a legacy Benidorm deserves as one of the world capitals of residential tourism” and promises a new standard of “quality, innovation, and exclusivity.”
